Real
World Savings:
Savings due to correct conveyor belt and idler
selection at the Henderson Mine were approximately $1,800,000
on the capital cost and $420,000 on the annual operating
power cost. By applying our experience, state-of-the-art
equipment, and total quality assurance process, we completed
the project on-time and under budget.
|
| Conveyor Services was the sole service
provider for belt splicing for this project. This system is
comprised of three belt lines utilizing 168,980 feet of belting,
including the 11 mile long PC2 - the longest single flight conveyor
in the world. With 101 total splices, 68 on just one conveyor,
we completed more splices on this single project than many companies
do in a year. Conveyor Services Corporation utilized its own
fleet of tractor trailers and its custom designed 150 HP belt
winder for the project. |

 |
Location
of the Henderson Mine and Mill
Since, this project was located in a remote
area of Colorado, Conveyor Services Corporation utilized its
own fleet of custom trucks for the job.
